Dundee Invasion: Cat Troubles

The next pic in my "Dundee Invasion" series/request. Just one more pic left! I had a lot of fun making these, and the request was a nice challenge to work on.

Rarity slinked through the streets, putting her hooves down as lightly as she could and keeping her movements slow. She had inadvertently stepped on a few fire hydrants and newsstands, making a horrible mess of water and paper. She didn't even have time to apologize to the humans below--that would have taken precious seconds off her search for Opal. Even now, she could only mumble a "Sorry" or "Pardon me" as she trudged her way between the buildings and humans sidestepped out of her way.

Making a mess and not cleaning up, or even apologizing--I know I can't help it, but it's so unladylike! Rarity thought with a huff. Stepping on things wasn't the worst of it, even--earlier she had cut through the docks in an attempted shortcut, and somehow ended up turning a corner just a tad but too wide and knocked into a crane with her flank! Luckily for the operator, it was only a glancing blow, and the crane wasn't damaged...but the thought of nearly wrecking the machine, and how easily someone could have gotten hurt made the fashionista feel guilty.

Not to mention the...'wolf-whistles' the whole spectacle had drawn from the dock-workers. So uncouth!

Opal wouldn't get off scot-free for this, that was for sure.
"Making me late for dear William's wedding, and with Lyra wearing a dress of my design, without me there to address any admirers...and leading me on a wild goose chase through Dundee, AND making me make a mess of the place? The cat will be lucky if I still feed her fresh milk every day!" Rarity hissed under her breath.
